Enterprise gaming for teams that learn together.

Purpose-built for onboarding and e-learning. Real games played in the browser.

The session lobby in a client's colours: the KPN avatar and sessions over a night-time city
The Cohort session lobby: your avatar on a stage, the next session card and the sessions list over the game world
Why enterprise gaming

A new species of learning tool. Taking the power of consumer gaming into the workplace, Cohort sets a new standard for learning and connecting with your coworkers.

FIG 0.1

Learn by playing

People remember what they did, not what they read. Objectives, choices and consequences inside a real game world.

FIG 0.2

Play together

Twenty colleagues in one world at the same time. Learning becomes something you do with people, not to them.

FIG 0.3

Built for enterprise

Your data stays yours. Your own dedicated enterprise server, single sign-on, EU hosting, and games that run in any browser with nothing to install.

The category

Real games.
Not gamified courses.

A leaderboard beside a solo course is not a game. Twenty colleagues in one world at the same time, with objectives no one can finish alone — that is.

What an LMS cannot do

Culture and connection need people in the room at the same time.

Clarification and compliance are information transfer, and e-learning does them cheaply. The other two pillars of onboarding are not information — and that is the whole difference.

What we left out

We don't use the manipulative parts.

No streaks. No daily rewards. No variable-reward schedules. No individual leaderboards ranking colleagues against each other. No elimination that leaves someone watching. No session recordings, by decision. These techniques exist to extract time from people who chose to be there — your employees did not choose.
